From Seed to Full Bloom

Angel S. Brown holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Duke University, where she competed as a Division I goalkeeper on the Women's Lacrosse team, and a Master of Biomedical Sciences from Duke University School of Medicine.

Her professional journey spans education, community organizing, philanthropy, ministry, consulting, and the literary arts. She is dedicated to children's literature that builds confidence, compassion, and consciousness. Grounded in her faith and her intergenerational home in Durham, North Carolina, Angel brings a storyteller's eye, an organizer's heart, and a steward's discipline to everything she does.
