Storyteller. Speaker. Steward.

Cultivating a legacy of generational impact

About Angel

Angel S. Brown is a mother, neighbor, person of faith, and child of immigrants who believes stories shape everything. As a storyteller, speaker, and steward, she cultivates a legacy of generational impact founded on dignity, community, and love.

As a writer, she develops picture book manuscripts that build confidence, compassion, and consciousness in children and families. She is based in Durham, NC, where she reads and creates from her window seat, tends the garden with her three children, plays dominoes with her father, and Latin dances with her husband.

Work Rooted in Dignity, Community, and Love

I cultivate legacies of generational impact in communities and craft stories that nurture confidence, compassion, and consciousness in children and families

  • A woman with curly hair, glasses, and a pink cardigan reading a book to a group of children and adults during a storytime at an event.

    Storyteller

I craft narratives that connect generations by building compassion, consciousness, and confidence in every audience I meet.

  • A woman with curly hair speaking into a microphone during an indoor event or gathering.

    Speaker

I step on to every stage with one goal: to move an audience toward clarity, connection, and collective growth.

  • Two women are engaged in a conversation at an indoor event or gathering. One woman has curly black hair and is smiling, while the other has wavy brown hair and is facing away from the camera. In the background, there are other people and tables with various items.

    Steward

I bridge the gap between philanthropists and community organizations for autonomous futures.
